-
PRO Skijor is an outdoor winter event series, and weather conditions can vary and may be extreme.
-
We make every reasonable effort to produce snow and prepare the course, including snowmaking when necessary and feasible.
-
Events will generally proceed in a wide range of weather and snow conditions, including but not limited to:
-
Snow, wind, cold temperatures, and variable footing
-
Rain, thawing conditions, or limited natural snow
-
-
Weather or snow conditions, by themselves, are not grounds for refunds or credits.
3. Event Changes, Delays & Rescheduling
PRO Skijor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
-
Modify the event schedule, competition format, course layout, divisions, or running order
-
Delay, pause, or restart events due to safety concerns, weather, or operational issues
-
Shorten, rearrange, or combine divisions as needed for safety and logistics
-
Relocate the event within the same venue or to a nearby suitable facility where feasible
-
Reschedule an event to a different date or time if necessary for safety or operational reasons
These adjustments are sometimes required in outdoor event management and do not qualify as grounds for refunds.
If an event is rescheduled, your purchase (tickets, entries, etc.) will typically be honored for the rescheduled date. In such cases, no refunds will be issued if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, unless explicitly stated otherwise by PRO Skijor.
4. Event Cancellation & Force Majeure
In rare circumstances, an event may be cancelled or materially disrupted due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
-
Severe or unsafe weather
-
Natural disasters
-
Government restrictions or regulations
-
Public health or equine health emergencies
-
Venue damage, power failures, or other operational emergencies
These situations are generally referred to as force majeure events. In such cases:
-
PRO Skijor may, at its sole discretion, offer credits, transfers, or alternative options; however,
-
Refunds are not guaranteed and remain entirely at the discretion of PRO Skijor and/or the venue.
Any accommodations provided in these situations are voluntary and limited and do not constitute a change to this general No Refund Policy.
5. No-Show & Partial Use
-
If you or your team do not attend the event for any reason (including travel issues, illness, injury, or scheduling conflicts), no refund or credit will be issued.
-
If you attend but choose to leave early, or are unable to participate in one or more divisions or rounds (for any reason, including disqualification or safety decisions), no partial refunds or credits will be issued.
