How the Frontier Tour Works
The Pro Skijor Wild Frontier Series is designed for everyone - from first-timers to seasoned pros. Whether you’re chasing a championship or just want to experience the thrill of skijoring, here’s how it works:
1. TEAM PRO CARD
Planning to commit to the series and chase points, prize money, and a berth at the Frontier Tour Championship Finals? You must sign up and declare your team by January 1, 2026. The Team PRO Card is required to track your points across sanctioned events and verify Finals eligibility, and it is required in addition to your regular team registration for each race - you’ll still register for every event you enter. Cardholders also score perks like merch and food discounts at tour stops. Make the season count—get your Team PRO Card today (CLICK HERE), map your schedule, and run multiple races to climb the standings and ride for the buckles and the money.
2. NO PRO CARD
Not chasing the series? If you plan to enter a single race and don’t need points tracked, a PRO Card isn’t required - simply register for that event.
3. EARN POINTS
Every time you compete, you earn points - just for showing up. Place in your division, and you’ll earn even more.
2. COMPETE IN THE SERIES
There are five events in the Wild Frontier Tour Series. Enter one, two, or all four. The more events you ride, the more points you can stack up - and the better your shot at the championship.
3. QUALIFY FOR THE FINALS
The competitors with the highest points advance to the Championship Finals in Salt Lake City at the end of February - an epic showdown on the big stage.
4. CASH, PRIZES & GLORY
Every race offers cash payouts and prizes, plus bonuses for overall series rankings. Consistently finishing in the top 4 can really add up.
5. CROWN THE CHAMPIONS
At the Finals, the best of the best are crowned Tour Champions - recognized as the world champions of their division.
Whether you want to chase points all season and qualify for the finals, or just try your hand at a single event, there’s a place for you. Register to compete and join the fastest-growing winter sport in the West!
