PRO CARD

The PRO Card is how your team officially declares participation in the PRO Skijor Frontier Tour - signaling that you plan to compete in two or more tour races, have your points tracked, and chase qualification for the Championship Finals. Because points, standings, and finals qualification are tracked per team (not per individual), a PRO Card is required for every team that is declaring for the tour. This means if you compete on multiple teams, each team will need its own PRO Card. For example, if the same rider and skier compete together in both the Sport and Women’s divisions, they’ll need one PRO Card for each team.

Purchasing a PRO Card is essentially your team’s entry into the tour itself - your way of saying, “We’re in it for the season.” The $25 PRO Card fee is a one-time registration per team for the tour (not per event), and it’s your team’s “bet” that you’ll qualify for the Championship Finals. Teams that qualify will not pay any entry fees for the Finals — participation in that event is free for all qualifying teams.

PRO Cards apply to all competitive tour divisions - PRO, Sport, Women’s, All-Around, and Snowboard. “Just-for-Fun” teams do not require a PRO Card, as those divisions are limited to individual events. Teams may still compete in tour divisions at single events without purchasing a PRO Card; however, only teams with a PRO Card will have their points tracked, standings maintained, and eligibility for Finals qualification recognized.

Teams are encouraged to register their PRO Cards by January 1, 2026 to declare for the season. Beyond standings and Finals eligibility, PRO Card holders also receive exclusive athlete perks such as race-day food discounts, merchandise deals, sponsor specials, and hotel discounts - which vary by event and venue.

In short, the PRO Card is a small investment that opens the door to a season of big opportunity - recognition, rewards, and a clear path to the Championship Finals.

Not chasing the full series?

If you’re just entering a single event and don’t need points tracked, no worries - a PRO Card isn’t required. Just register for that race and you’re good to go.
