Points stack across four qualifying events in PRO, Sport, Women's, All-Around, and Snowboard. Top point-earners by division punch their ticket to the Championship Finals.
Points are awarded for finishing 1st through 10th at each qualifying event. Finals placement points are doubled - 1st at Finals = 30 points.
+1 Check-In for checking in on-site. +2 Completion for finishing at least one run with a valid official time. Stackable up to +3 per event per division.
Only your top 3 placement results from 4 qualifying events count toward your season total. Miss an event or have a rough weekend - you're still in the hunt.
Placement points are awarded to eligible Team PRO Card teams using official overall event finish positions.
Ties: Teams tied receive the same placement points - the next place is skipped. DNF / DSQ / No Time = no placement points.
Championship Finals placement points are doubled using the same scale.
Finals bonuses: +1 Check-In + +2 Completion = up to +3. Finals weight is primarily via double placement points.
Awarded once per eligible team per division per event upon on-site check-in. No-shows receive no check-in points. A checked-in team can earn this point even if it does not record a valid time.
Awarded once per eligible team per division per event for finishing at least one official run and recording a valid official time, including assessed penalties. There is no minimum speed or placement requirement. A slow valid time counts. A DNF, disqualified run or no-time result does not count as a completed run. With check-in, a team can earn up to +3 per event.
Awarded once per team per division for earning both check-in and completion points at all four qualifiers under the normal schedule, or every completed qualifier in the division when three or two are completed. No series bonus is awarded if only one is completed. Attendance alone is insufficient. This bonus is added once to the qualifier total and is not awarded again at Finals.
Completion versus placement: One valid run earns completion credit. Under the normal two-day format, overall event placing requires two valid results. The published shortened-event and All-Around format rules still apply.
Under the normal four-qualifier schedule, your qualifier placement total uses your best 3 of 4 qualifier results. If fewer qualifiers are completed in your division, all available placement results count, up to three. Review cancelled-qualifier adjustments. If you miss an event or have a tough weekend, only your top 3 placement finishes count - so you stay in the hunt all season long.
Important: Bonuses are never dropped. Check-In, Completion, and Series Completion bonuses apply in full - Best-3 only applies to placement points from qualifying events.
If a team has fewer than three placement results, all of its earned placement points count. Missing events contribute zero placement points. Teams must still meet the published Finals eligibility requirements.
Only your top 3 placement results from qualifying events count toward your total.
+1 Check-In and +2 Completion bonuses earned across all events you attend - not subject to Best-3.
+4 bonus for checking in and recording at least one valid official time at every completed qualifier in the division, counted once. At least two qualifiers must be completed; under the normal schedule, all four are required.
Championship Finals placement points count double - same scale, twice the points.

Points determine Championship Finals qualification, Tour standings and season points winners in each division. Season points winners receive championship buckles and applicable prizes. Points do not create a separate season points cash purse.
Event cash awards are separate: Overall 1st-4th place payouts and fastest-time day money follow official event results and the published cash payout policy. A team can win day money without earning an overall podium finish. The published cancellation and unawarded-cash provisions still apply, including the exceptional Finals standings-based fallback.

After the qualifier series, eligible teams are ranked within their division using qualifier placement points and all earned qualifier bonuses. Finals points are not included when determining who qualifies. The Championship Finals take place at Lake Tahoe on March 6-7, 2027, during the March 5-7 event weekend. Entry is free for qualified PRO Tour teams.
A valid Team PRO Card, purchased and matched to the exact named team by January 15, 2027, is required for Tour points and Finals eligibility. Eligible divisions are PRO, Sport, Women's, Snowboard and All-Around. Community divisions and exhibitions do not earn Tour points.
Earn check-in points at at least two qualifiers in the same division. If only one qualifier is completed in that division, the minimum reduces to one. If none are completed, a separately approved qualification plan is required. Each separately named team holds its own points and must satisfy the eligibility requirements.
The Championship Finals invite up to 76 eligible PRO Tour teams: PRO 21, Sport 25, Women's 10, Snowboard 10 and All-Around 10. Invitations are earned through official qualifier standings and eligibility requirements, not through registration at a single qualifier. Equal-point teams are separated by the published qualification tiebreakers. Unfilled invitations are offered to eligible alternates in the same division. Review qualification ties and alternates.
Points belong to the registered team in its division. Points cannot be transferred or combined between teams or divisions. A team name change does not reset or transfer its identity, results or obligations.
These substitution provisions are intended to provide a fair solution when a horse, rider or skier/snowboarder faces a legitimate injury, illness or other extenuating circumstance. The sincere expectation is that a registered team will compete together throughout the season and finish the season as that team. Competitors must act honestly, provide accurate information and uphold good sportsmanship. False claims, misleading information or tactical roster changes intended to gain a competitive advantage are not permitted. Substitutions are a hardship provision, not a way to bypass eligibility rules, transfer points or replace a qualifying team with a stronger roster.
Multi-team / multi-division participation: Individuals may appear on multiple teams and in multiple divisions in accordance with rules, regulations, and division and crossover limits. Points never cross over between teams or divisions.
After the qualifier series, eligible teams are ranked within their division using their official qualifier points. Finals results are not used to decide who qualifies. When eligible teams have equal qualifier points, officials apply the following tiebreakers in order:
Every invitation will state its acceptance deadline and timezone. If a team does not accept by the stated deadline, officials may offer the place to the next eligible alternate in that division. A team should promptly decline if it cannot attend so the next eligible team has time to arrange travel.
Invitations issued while the published 72-hour results-correction window is still open are provisional. Acceptance confirms the team's intention to attend; it does not override a valid results correction or guarantee a place before qualification standings are finalized. Officials will confirm final invitation eligibility after the correction window closes and any timely corrections are resolved. If a correction changes qualification order, invitation and alternate priority will be updated accordingly.
If an invited team declines, is ineligible or otherwise gives up its Finals place, the invitation is offered to the next eligible team in that division's official qualification order, including the tiebreakers above. The process continues in order as places become available. Invitations cannot be transferred to another team or moved to another division.
Eligibility still applies: Alternates must meet the same Team PRO Card, minimum participation, division and team-identity requirements as other qualifiers. Approved hardship substitutions remain governed by the published substitution policy.
Example: Sally's team and Jill's team have equal qualifier points at the Women's invitation cutoff. Sally's counted Best-3 results include a first-place finish, while Jill's best placing is second. Sally's team receives priority. If Jill's team is next in the official qualification order, it becomes the first alternate.
After the Championship Finals, teams with equal final season points in their division are separated in the following order:
Finals points and wins: Finals placement points are doubled in the season total. A Finals win counts as one win, not two, for this tiebreaker comparison.
Separate from event awards: This policy determines season points standings and titles. Finals event placings, event cash payouts and day money remain subject to their separate published policies.
PRO Skijor will first make every reasonable effort to complete competition or safely reschedule it. If a qualifier cannot be completed or safely rescheduled, the following adjustments apply separately to each affected division:

Minimum Finals participation: When at least two qualifiers are completed in the division, the minimum remains check-in points at two qualifiers in that division. If only one qualifier is completed, the minimum reduces to one qualifier check-in. All other Team PRO Card, division and team-identity requirements remain in effect.
No completed qualifiers: If no qualifiers are completed in a division, there is no automatic points-based Finals qualification. A separately approved and published Finals qualification plan is required.
Check-in and completion points already legitimately earned remain credited. Placement points are awarded only from official division results; placements or points will not be invented for competition without official results. The +4 series bonus is awarded once to a team meeting both the check-in and valid-time requirements at every completed qualifier in its division, provided at least two qualifiers are completed.
A qualifier conducted to completion under the normal format or the approved shortened-event format counts as a completed qualifier. An individual team's DNF, disqualification or missing time does not make that qualifier cancelled. Cancellation adjustments apply to the affected division rather than automatically to every division at an event.
Rescheduled competition: A safely rescheduled qualifier remains the same Tour event. Its official placement results count once, and check-in and completion bonuses are each available once per team in its division for that event.
Example: If Denver cannot be completed or safely rescheduled, a team that checks in and records at least one valid official time at Bozeman, Boise / Nampa and Heber can still earn the +4 series bonus. All three completed qualifier placement results count.
Prize-money redistribution and entry-fee credits remain governed by their separate published policies.
When two or more teams tie for an official overall event placing, each Tour-points-eligible team receives the full placement points for that placing. Placement points are not divided or averaged between tied teams. The following placings skip the positions occupied by the tie.
Cash is handled separately: Under the approved cash tie policy, the cash payouts for the places occupied by the tie are combined and divided equally among the tied teams. That cash-sharing calculation does not reduce their placement points.
Each of the four qualifiers has 220 team entries: 146 PRO Tour entries and 74 Community entries. Division caps apply separately.
