Giddy Up Buttercup

Giddy Up Buttercup is made up of Paige (skier), Elisha (horse rider), and Snickers—an 11-year-old horse who is all go and no whoa when it comes to skijoring.

Paige and Elisha connected through Facebook and quickly teamed up across states, with Paige based in Boise, Idaho, and Elisha in Heber City, Utah. This is Paige’s first skijoring season, backed by a childhood of ski racing in Minnesota. Elisha grew up riding horses in Utah and is heading into her second skijoring season with Snickers, who genuinely loves the sport and brings speed, power, and enthusiasm to every run.
