PRO Skijor is taking a sport with deep Western roots and building it for a bigger stage. At Bally's Arapahoe Horse Park, elite horses and riders meet skiers and snowboarders on a purpose-built snow course at speed, over jumps and in front of a live crowd.
This is more than a race. It's sport + entertainment: world-class competition surrounded by music, food, vendors, fashion, athlete stories and the culture that makes skijoring unlike anything else in winter sports.
Denver gives the Frontier Tour exactly what we're looking for: a prestigious horse racing facility, a major metropolitan audience and a nationally recognized Bally's property with the amenities and atmosphere to introduce more people to the sport.
Horsepower

The Featured
Performance
Competition runs throughout the weekend, but Saturday and Sunday build toward the PRO Skijor Featured Performance, a concentrated, fan-first showcase featuring premier Tour athletes and divisions, athlete stories, entertainment and sponsor moments.
Arrive early. Walk the venue. Grab food. Meet the culture. Then get close to the course and feel what happens when a horse, rider and skier commit to the line at full speed.
Performance times, ticket options and fan experiences will be announced as final event details are released.
Chase The Tour
Denver is an official Frontier Tour qualifier. PRO Card teams compete for Tour points as the season builds toward the 2027 Championship Finals at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe and the Caesars Outdoor Amphitheater.
Come Race
You don't have to chase the full Tour to compete. Eligible Community and single-event teams can line up for Denver, race head-to-head for the local podium and applicable cash purse, and be part of the weekend. Friday will feature substantial Community racing, with additional competition surrounding the Featured Performances Saturday and Sunday.
