Jackson Hole Exhibition — January 9, 2027
This is an application, not a confirmed registration. This exhibition is not an officially timed PRO Tour event. No Tour points or cash payouts will be awarded, although sponsor prizes, awards and recognition may be offered.
Participation is limited to a maximum field of 20 teams—or 20 skiers/snowboarders when individual applicants are matched with horses and riders—and every athlete and team must be approved by PRO Skijor. Applicants should be experienced Sport- or PRO-level competitors with extensive skijoring experience.
PRO Skijor intends to select at least 10 skiers/snowboarders who are proven, safe and proficient in equestrian-towed big-air freestyle, including controlled rotations, inverts and other aerial maneuvers from a kicker-style jump. Video evidence is required from applicants seeking a Big Air position.
Experienced Sport- or PRO-level teams may also be accepted for the exhibition even if they do not plan to enter Big Air. Air awareness and jumping proficiency are preferred but are not required for every accepted team.
Professional-level skiers or snowboarders without a horse and rider may apply individually. Tell us about your experience and, if approved, PRO Skijor will work to match you with a qualified horse-and-rider team.
Submitting this no-charge application does not guarantee acceptance. Approved applicants will receive a separate confirmation before appearing publicly in Meet the Teams.
