Pistol Annie / Amber McMackin / Beau Brown – C&H Inspections Team

Pistol Annie – 10-year-old Quarter Horse with serious speed and power. First season skijoring, with the strength and drive to take this team to the top. Quick off the line and eager to work, she stays composed through crowds, noise, and course chaos. Pistol Annie brings explosive acceleration, steady nerves, and a gritty pull that shows up when the pace increases. Built to run, learning fast, and gaining confidence with every heat.

Amber McMackin – Lifelong rider and fourth-year skijoring competitor with multiple podium finishes. No stranger to the winner’s circle, Amber has earned her results through grit, guts, and zero quit. By now she’s got the chaos dialed in and the throttle wide open. She rides tough, makes fast decisions under pressure, and has very little patience for excuses. Loud crowds, fast tracks, high stakes? Perfect. Amber brings confidence, control, and a clear intent to win every time she drops the gate.

Beau Brown (Skier) – On skis since age eight, with a background in skiing, snowboarding, competitive wakeboarding, aviation and just about anything else that goes fast. Before skijoring and inspections, Beau spent years flying helicopters in Hawaii, where he first learned inspection work, before moving to Utah and starting C&H Inspections. Beau thrives on pressure and unknowns, with a calm, detail-driven approach to high-risk environments. This is his first season skijoring, blending a lifetime of speed sports into a new challenge.
