Bagel and Locks

Two moms who’ve been watching skijoring from the sidelines for years—dreaming, cheering, and finally saying why not us? When skijoring came to Boise, we decided to throw ourselves straight into the fire.

Kimmie’s horse, Bagel, is a 10-year-old leopard Appaloosa with as much personality as he has versatility. Normally, Kimmie and Bagel compete in eventing, but today they’re trading the English saddle for a Western one and embracing something completely new.

Michelle is a mom of two and a powerful snowboarder, and we figured there’s no better way to celebrate her birthday than by combining two things we’re deeply passionate about—horses and snow—and sending it together.
